Join us in Welcoming Bennett Schwab to the SmartSimple family

We are excited to announce the addition of Bennett Schwab to the SmartSimple team in the role Director of Business Development. He joins SmartSimple with an extensive accounting and software background; he spent the last 15 years working with foundations to address their technology and software needs. Working hand in hand with clients  through the entire sales process, he worked to eliminate the confusion and related stress due to inefficient or outdated practices and procedures thereby giving foundations the freedom to focus on mission critical outcomes.

Bennett also brings with him a breadth of experience gained from working in the financial, technology and non-profit sector. In his previous roles as Controller, Accounting Specialist and Consultant, Bennett honed his technical as well as his financial skills.
In his new role, Bennett will:
  • Establish relationships with potential clients, understand their unique needs and offer solutions to meet those needs
  • Serve as key liaison for clients in the early stages of the relationship
  • Identify key opportunities within different vertical markets for the continued growth of SmartSimple

On October 29 th and 30 th , the SmartSimple team took part in the very first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference. Hosted by the Conference Board of Canada, the event took place at the Hilton in Toronto, Canada. The theme for this inaugural event was Delivering Meaningful Impact.
